El pasado 13 de octubre celebraron la llegada de dos nuevas grúas de muelle STS (Ship To Shore) Super Post Panamax, las cuales se integran a la operación de su Terminal Especializada de Contenedores I. 

Cada una de estas grúas cuenta con una capacidad de 65 toneladas bajo spreader y 100 toneladas bajo gancho, lo que les permite atender con mayor versatilidad las necesidades de carga de sus clientes. 

La inversión total para su adquisición fue de 21.2 millones de dólares. Esta incorporación refuerza su capacidad operativa, optimizando los procesos de recepción y entrega de carga.

Como parte de su compromiso con la modernización y la eficiencia, también han despedido cuatro de sus grúas más antiguas, dando paso a un equipo más moderno, sostenible y alineado con las necesidades actuales del comercio internacional.

SSA Marine Mexico strengthens its infrastructure in Manzanillo with the addition of new dockside cranes

Foreign trade continues to be a key driver of global economic growth, and SSA Marine Mexico is committed to boosting this dynamism.

As part of their continuous improvement strategy, they have consistently invested in cutting-edge technology and equipment, enabling them to offer more efficient and competitive service to their clients, thus contributing to the development of Mexican businesses.

On October 13th, they celebrated the arrival of two new Super Post Panamax STS (Ship To Shore) dock cranes, which have been integrated into the operations of their Specialized Container Terminal I.

Each of these cranes has a capacity of 65 tons under the spreader and 100 tons under the hook, allowing them to more effectively meet their clients’ cargo needs.

The total investment for their acquisition was US$21.2 million. This addition strengthens their operational capacity, optimizing cargo receiving and delivery processes.

As part of their commitment to modernization and efficiency, they have also retired four of their oldest cranes, replacing them with a more modern, sustainable fleet aligned with the current needs of international trade.

With these actions, they now have a total of 16 cranes at their 1,350-meter dock, solidifying SSA Marine Mexico’s position as a leader in port infrastructure nationwide.
